I grew up in northern Ontario but I have also briefly lived in a cottage on St. Joseph's Island, Sault Ste. Marie, and a cabin in the woods of Algonquin Park. I've been stranded during a storm on the shore of Lake Superior during a kayak trip. I've portaged by moonlight. I've survived black flies and bears. I speak French and I have British, Scottish and Iroquois heritage, I figure this makes me the quintessential Canadian.
My dream is to run a business that facilitates wilderness experiences for people who aren't predisposed to being outside. I believe that spending time in nature soothes the soul, delivers answers to tough questions and challenges the notion of what is truly important in our lives.
